Additional Support Sessions
At Calmr, we strongly believe in a united approach to embed taught skills and support the child in times of anxiety using the same language and techniques.
This is why we create an opportune learning space for carers, grandparents, coaches and teachers who want to understand how to help a child living with anxiety.
Children progress best when the adults around them understand what is happening and know how to respond. These sessions give you practical guidance, space to ask questions, and clear explanations of the strategies the child is learning.
Teachers and carers can bring classroom or day-to-day situations to talk through, with suggestions shaped to their environment and the child’s needs. The aim is to help you respond in a consistent way wherever the child is in your care.
These sessions are designed to leave you feeling calm, capable, and clear about how to support a child through their overwhelm or meltdowns.
How the sessions work
Additional support sessions are held online and can be booked at any point. They run as single appointments, with the option for follow-ups when more guidance is needed.
Each session is focused, gentle, and practical. You will walk away with clear steps you can use straight away.
“I underestimated how hard it would be adjusting to working from home, but with Dr. Schell’s help, I was able to regain focus.”
