Ages 7 to 12

These sessions are designed to help younger children understand and manage anxiety in a way that feels safe and natural. Using play based tools such as storytelling, drawing, figurines, and gentle conversation, Julie helps children express worries they may not yet have words for.

Sessions are held in a calm, child centred environment, either in person in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs or in the comfort of your home. The focus is on building confidence, emotional awareness, and simple coping tools that children can use day to day.

Parents receive regular updates so strategies can be supported at home.

Ages 13 to 18

Teen sessions provide a supportive space to talk through what feels overwhelming, whether that is school pressure, friendships, self confidence, or ongoing worry. Sessions are conversational and practical, helping teens understand their anxiety and develop tools to manage stress and emotions.

Julie works at the teen’s pace, creating a space where they feel heard, respected, and supported without judgement. Sessions can be held in person or online, offering flexibility around schedules and location.

Parents remain involved through guidance and updates, while respecting the teen’s growing independence.

“I underestimated how hard it would be adjusting to working from home, but with Dr. Schell’s help, I was able to regain focus.”
