Child Anxiety Coaching
A gentle, play-based space to help children understand and manage their anxiety with confidence.
Children often struggle to put their worries into words. Through expressive play, and a warm, child-centred environment, we help them feel safe enough to explore what’s going on inside. Sessions use puppets, figurines, drawing, and simple activities that make it easier for children to express themselves and learn practical tools for calming anxious moments.
Parents stay involved through a short update after each session, helping you continue the same language and strategies at home so your child feels supported between visits.
How the sessions work
Most children join for 12 fortnightly sessions, but there’s no pressure to move at a set pace. Some children settle in quickly, while others need a little more time, and that’s completely okay. We follow your child’s comfort level and adjust the rhythm of the sessions to suit them.
Since play is such an important part of the work, children under 12 will attend in-person sessions, primarily in the Eastern Suburbs, in a child-friendly space like the Library in Bondi Junction. However, for children around 11 or 12, online sessions may be possible, depending on what feels right for your child and your family.
